We have recently completed construction on an important project at the Quad City Botanical Center Children's Garden in Rock Island, Illinois where we had the pleasure of working with Treiber Construction. They were the General Contractor for a portion of the project we called the Entry Plaza. This phase of work was an intricate series of paved rooms and walls with sign features spotted throughout.
They immediately recognized the special quality of the project, by embracing and proliferating an attitude of teamwork and collaboration throughout the project. Their project leadership was friendly, professional, and communicative, bringing timely notice to challenges, and offering functional solutions to the table for consideration.
Their construction administration was strong. They followed standard procedures with pay requests, change orders, and submittals. They were organized and supplied the information needed without hesitation.
Their work as well as the work of their subcontracting team was high quality with an eye for detail. They brought their sub-contractors to team meetings when appropriate to be efficient with the communication. Their forces also worked and coordinated seamlessly with other on-site contractors as well as contractors that came after them.
They understood the meaning of the term lump-sum contract and did not seek nickel and dime changes for small adjustments. When changes were needed, they were fair and open with their pricing. And lastly, they delivered the project on-time.
We would welcome the opportunity to work with Treiber Construction again, and would have no hesitation about recommending them for similar projects.
